We're looking for a Lead Mechanical Package Engineer to join our Utilities team based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to an exciting major project on the UK's third largest treatment works site that serves 2.1 million people!

Responsibilities

As a Lead Mechanical Package Engineer, you'll be working in our Utilities team to provide mechanical expertise on projects at our Mogden site, which is a project operating within the water industry. You'll implement design solutions, controlling technical delivery, costs, changes and programmes at all stages of projects.

Your day to day will include:

  • Technical assurance of Design, engineering, calculations, specifications
  • Assisting with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams and supervising plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
  • Managing the supplier/contractor procurement process from enquiry to delivery
  • Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
  • Reviewing designs & proposals for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice

    • What are we looking for?

    This Lead Mechanical Engineer role is great for you if have:

  • A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • Experience of mechanical engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
  • Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
