Lead Senior Authorized Person - Norway

We're working with a leading contractor who are looking to expand their European Portfolio of projects they are seeking a Lead Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join their team on the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Norway.
The business is well established with nearly 100 years of trading and are looking to rapidly expand across Europe. A great chance to be part of their largest project to date!
Scope of the Role:
The Electrical Authorised Person is the lead electrical position within the project. They are accountable for managing and implementation of the electrical safety rules across a portfolio of data centres ensuring that a safe system of work is always adhered to, as well as overseeing a team of SAP's.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Authorised Person is responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and auditing the application of the Electrical Safety Rules.
- Authorised Persons will provide the necessary cover for all systems and installations for which the company has control of the electrical danger.
- Take responsibility for the supervision and leadership of the prospective systems carrying out switching operations on the HV/LV system.
- Investigate all Dangerous Occurrences and incidents involving electrical equipment, systems and installations for which the Authorising Engineer is responsible.
- Ensure all Subcontractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
Key Requirements:
- A trade background and 10 years previous experience managing large installation projects and sub-contractors.
- Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects
- In depth knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality compliance
- Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical systems
