Are you looking to join a leading utilities company working in partnership with Anglian Water and Clancy Docwra? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a customer- centric, Leakage Team Leader to strengthen our leakage and networks team throughout the region.
About the role
In this exciting role, you will be assisting and supporting the Area Manager and Leakage Delivery Support Manager in day-to-day on-site management of the Leakage Technicians who are responsible for the use of technical leakage detection equipment. As Leakage Team Leader, you will be responsible for working in compliance with Health and Safety and ensuring the Technicians are also compliant and take accountability for coaching behavioural safety. You will take a technical lead with data collection and the use of hand-held PDA's and smart devices, as well as regular quality checks and audits on equipment. You will also be training new starters and ensure key competencies are achieved with a continuous improvement mind-set.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in the role, you be an enthusiastic individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work. You will be happy to work outdoors in all weathers with excellent communication skills. This role will involve a lot of manual handling, walking, carrying equipment and lifting of various chambers and covers. You will also need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
