JOB TITLE: Learning Mentor

SALARY: £9.83 per hour + statutory holiday pay

HRG is working on behalf of an established Further Education College within the Hertfordshire area and is looking for an experienced Learning Mentor to work on a full-time bias.

The Role:

*To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing a high quality pro-active learning support service.
*To provide support for learning that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of the college journey to progression into further study or employment.
*To work directly with Personal Tutors, curriculum staff and Student Services to ensure learners are fully engaged with all aspects of their Study Programme and achieving to the best of their ability.
*To support learners to improve their English and Maths skills.
*To work in collaboration with partner teams in the delivery of support services across College.

The Successful Candidate Have:

*Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
*Experience of supporting learning needs on a one to one or classroom basis.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with client group
