Protocol are working in St. Helens to recruit for an experienced Learning Support Assistant.

This role is until the end of the academic year and 3 full days per week!

The ideal candidate is an engaging, enthusiastic, motivated individual who has previous experience with learners with learning difficulties.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a female learner who has autism and needs support to be kept on track with her studies.
Lunch time supervision, and meeting at the door first thing in the morning and handing over to parents.

The Person & Qualifications:

Must have experience as an LSA
Must have experience with learners who have SEN and SPLD
Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners.
You'll also need to undertake Safeguarding and Prevent training, as well as apply for an Enhanced DBS Certificate, unless you've already registered on the update service.
