We are working with a fantastic college in the Cambridgeshire area who are looking for 10 Learning Support Mentors within the field of Health and Personal Care to start immediately. With an hourly rate of £10.80 per hour plus statutory holiday pay, the college are ideally looking to interview on this Friday 31st August. Full time hours are available.
Role responsibilities
Work in collaboration with the subject lecturing staff and assessors, under the direction of the Learning Support Manger, or their delegate, within a wide variety of learning environments and situations.
Empower young people to achieve their personalised learning outcomes, including Education, Health and Care Plan outcomes and targets.
Adaptation of class resources in order to ensure students are able to access learning materials, i.e. enlarging text, modifying carrier language, etc.
Promote independence and empower students to make progress towards their achievement and champion learning support and inclusion.
The person & qualifications
Must be able to demonstrate they have experience of working with people with SEN and have experience of providing personal care.
