We at Protocol are recruiting for a Learning Support Practitioner who specialises in IT at level three and above. You be providing one-to-one academic support for a learner with Special Educational needs Monday to Friday until June 2019. You will be working closely with a student to support them in their every day learning at the college, you will be a key member of their learning experience for the rest of the Academic year.
Role responsibilities
Be able to support with content related to IT at Level 3 or above
Able to reinforce firm boundaries
Be able to provide one-to-one support to learners with Special Educational needs
The person & qualifications
Support staff will need knowledge of support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Oppositional Behaviour, and is competent in handling behavioural or communication that could be perceived as offensive/challenging.
Previous experience in a Learning Practitioner/Learning Support role
IT knowledge up to level 3
