Protocol are working with a Further Education college in Enfield in their search for an experienced Lecturer in Horticulture on a Full-time, Temporary on-going basis!

Role responsibilities:
Delivering and assessing to both theoretical and practical courses that are prepared
and developed in accordance with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) awarding body
policies and guidelines.
Delivery changes and developments may be required in relation to the demands of the
School Curriculum Plan.
Liaising with horticulture practical instructors, technicians and internal staff with regard to the provision of practical learner activities
The person & qualifications
Possess a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or a willingness to achieve within a specified period.
Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve (support will be given to gain accreditation over a specified period.)
Specialist knowledge (with specific reference to RHS teaching and learning courses) in one or more of the following areas:
? Plant or soil science including
plant propagation
? Machinery
? Turf Culture
? Plant Protection
? Hard or interior landscape
? Organic Husbandry
? Horticultural Therapy
? Garden Centre Technology
DBS dated within the last year or on the update service.
