Protocol is proud to be working with a further education college based in Cumbria who are looking for a Lecturer in Theatre & Events on a permanent basis with a salary of up to £25,476 (0.8fte - 29.6 hours a week).

The College specialises in Further and Higher Education, as well as training for businesses at all levels, including apprenticeships and NVQ training, sales, marketing, management, finance and business training. Judged Good by Ofsted, the College enjoys Beacon Status, has achieved IQER for its degree-level Provision, TQS for its work with employers and the Matrix Award for Advice and Guidance.

Role responsibilities
- You will be heavily involved in teaching our visual and performing arts programmes
- Delivering our UAL Production Arts qualifications training the theatre and events technicians of the future
- You will tutor students through the many projects from Scare Events to full scale musicals that are part of the learning journey

The person & qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment
- Level 3 Vocational qualification
- English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE A* to C or equivalent)
- Recent professional experience of working in a relevant industrial/commercial environment.
