Our client is a leading training organisation and is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to deliver both workshop and theory sessions in Mechanical Engineering, modules up to level 3.
The successful candidate will have at least a HNC/D qualification in a Mechanical Engineering subject and a proven track record of working in their relative industry along with subject matter delivery experience.
For this role we are looking for Lecturers with experience of delivering workshop machining and fitting units.
Possession of a teacher training qualification and the TAQA assessor award would be a distinct advantage.
Working within a well-equipped facility and leading a small team, you will be delivering theory and practical sessions to FE, HE and work based learners.
This is a real opportunity for the successful candidate to develop both the curriculum and links with the community & business for the benefit of the learners.
Support with training and development can be given to individuals with suitable industry qualifications seeking a career within an education establishment.
