Dove & Hawk are working with an Investment firm that have a portfolio of over 400 new build properties to rent as part of their portfolio at sites across the Colchester and Essex area. With a passion for providing high quality rental homes they are looking to bring on a Lettings consultant who can assist with the occupation of both existing units and forthcoming new builds that will be going live over the next year and beyond. This role will be suitable for someone with at least 12 months experience in the Lettings market who has an interest in the build to rent/PRS space of the property industry.

Functions of the role:

  • Coordinating the online marketing of available properties.
  • Responding to enquiries and viewing.
  • Arranging and accompanying viewings.
  • Negotiating qualified offers.
  • Progressing the tenancy through to move in: including referencing, Right to Rent checks, signing of tenancy documents etc.
  • Driving customer retention by initiating renewals discussions and negotiations.
  • Working in conjunction with third party agents as required.
  • Assisting the Head of Lettings to carry out market appraisals.
  • Achieving targets for occupancy rates, net income and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing regular reports.


Requirements of the role:

  • At least 12+ months experience in residential lettings, BTR/PRS is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • A proven track record of demonstrating the ability to: work autonomously, take charge, make informed decisions, and initiating action.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ambition to grow within a rapidly scaling company.
  • A full and valid UK Driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Salary Budgets: £30,000 per annum + performance related bonus

Required working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. (37.5 hours per week) Occasional Saturdays may be required for new site launches. Any days worked in excess of 5 days a week/37.5 hours will be owed back in lieu.
