Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE, OTE £50,000 (with 24-hour working available)

Role Coverage: Nationwide (mainly London and North West)

Commutable from: North West (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Blackburn, Preston)

Are you a Lift Installation Engineer looking for a company that can offer job security, product training, and a competitive package?

Due to continual growth in a buoyant industry, we are on the look-out for a skilled Lift Installation Engineer.

If you are at the beginning of your career as a Lift Engineer and you haven't achieved your NVQ 3 but you are full of enthusiasm and determination to learn, our client will still consider you!

The role coverage will be Nationwide completing lift installation projects on passenger lifts. However, we are looking for candidates either in the North West or down in London. Therefore the Lift Engineer must live a commutable distance from either of these locations.

Depending on your experience in the lift industry will determine your basic salary, but our client will pay up to £35,000 basic salary plus overtime on top. Bonuses will be paid for completing projects early and various incentives throughout the year to earn an additional salary. You will manage your own installation project. Should you be used to working with a particular Engineers Mate we will look to recruit them as well.

If you have experience as a Lift Installation Engineer or Lift Engineer with exposure to Installation projects in the Lift and Escalator industry we want to hear from you!

Lift Engineer - Responsibilities

    Installation of All types and manufacturers of passenger lifts

    A detailed report of the work carried out at each installation project.

    Priority of work keeping to a tight deadline

    Scheduled Installation work

    Reading drawings Installation by drawing lift equipment wiring lift panel - Installation

    Installing lift equipment / Modernisation work

    Installation New lift equipment Lester control panels

Lift Engineer - Requirements

    Experienced Lift engineer (NVQ 3 qualified preferred)

    Industry Knowledge & proven experience (minimum of 3 years)

    Installation works background on Lifts is essential

    Opportunity for training and progression NVQ Level 4

    Representing the company to a high standard and delivering great customer service

    Confident with a range of manufacturers is desirable

    Characteristics: hard working, reliable, good time management skills, customer service, team player
