LIFT SERVICE ENGINEER REQUIRED ASAP!!

Calling all NVQ 3 Qualified Lift Engineers for repair works on passenger & goods lifts

Lift Engineer to carry out repairs a wide range of lift manufacturers in the London area.

    £48,000 + Overtime

    Commutable: Dartford, Croydon, Watford, Romford, Enfield, Bromley

The Role:

* Lift Engineer minor repairs

* Minor repairs covering all of London

* 1 in 5 call out rota

* 40 hours week

The Person:

  • Lift Engineer minor or major repairs
  • NVQ in lift service or installation required
  • Living commutable distance from London
  • UK Driving License required
  • Ability to follow lift manuals diagrams accurately reading electrical diagrams
  • Strong electrical & mechanical understanding
  • Fault finding skills knowledge of various types of lift equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Minor repairs or isolating problems until further service can be carried out.
    • Emergency call-out - repairs or isolating problems

    Scheduled routine inspections & Repairs on electrical equipment, gears, hydraulics, drive systems, motors, overload detection devices, brakes, doors and locks

    Follow lift manuals/diagrams accurately when necessary.

    Adhere to quality assurance; health and safety and environmental standards

    Advise the Technical Manager of daily activities & advice on technical issues, outstanding works.

    Lift repairs for passenger lifts, goods lifts on both electrical traction & hydraulic lifting equipment.
