Key Responsibilities:
-
Advise the Service Manager with current field-based issues.
Carry out minor lift repairs when required to do so.
Demonstrate fault finding skills and knowledge of various types of lift equipment.
Follow lift manuals and diagrams accurately when necessary.
Adhere to quality assurance; health & safety and environmental standards
Be able to maintain and balance the accuracy of lift services.
Training other Engineers over the phone and on-site with fault-finding and complex repairs

NVQ 3 Qualified Technician - Senior Lift Engineer
NVQ 4 (Desirable)
A minimum of 5 years working as a Service & Breakdown Engineer in the lift & escalator industry, preferably with Technician experience.
Technically minded - electrically, mechanically (hydraulics is desirable)
A competent, quick thinking individual able to investigate, diagnose and advise both Engineers and customers with product and industry mastery
Flexible travelling the Midlands to cover service requirement.
Exposure to testing lifts or lift products/equipment - Desirable
