We are currently supporting one of our clients in their search for a Logistics Manager on a busy 35 week fit out project in Manchester City Centre. This is due to start on Tuesday 20th June. My client is looking for someone with construction logistics experience. Project is 4 floors and value is 10-12 million.
Reporting to the Site Manager, as Logistics Manager you will take full responsibility for the Site Activities which will include:
- Delivering all Construction activities in line with Health & Safety policies
- Working to RAMS
- Control of materials and deliveries. ensuring that all personnel receive goods in a safe and timely manner
- Coordinating direct and indirect (Subcontractor) personnel
- Communicate with delivery drivers and visitors on the correct access/exit and traffic management
- Ensuring high quality records / reports / paperwork are maintained and completed in a timely fashion
- Regular liaison and site updates
- Managing the day-to-day intake of materials, unloading and recording all deliveries.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a previous and successful track record. Key qualifications will include:
- CSCS Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Ability to use IT systems
