We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join their team on the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre Construction project in Finland.
Responsibilities
- Manage the compound for all available storage areas on site.
- Booking and Coordination of delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Sub Contractors to ensure their understanding of locations for all deliveries from off-site storage facility to the site in a safe manner and follow all instructions.
- Maintain good organisational skills to ensure deliveries are coming to site on time
- Attend pre-start meetings with sub-contractors
- Prevent congestion and blockage of site roads, all loading and unloading of works-related vehicles must be within the compound.
- Manage operatives to ensure the correct duties and responsibilities of health & safety and work ethics are being followed.
- Record and trace labour allocation and work reports.
Requirements
- 3rd level qualification in an engineering or construction related field is desirable however strong trades background, with 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Strong, proven leadership skills and experience of managing a team.
- In depth practical knowledge of managing loads, storage space, sub-contractors and operatives.
