Maintenance Assistant (Shift) Required

Start date: ASAP. This is shift work (6am - 2pm / 2pm -10pm / 10pm - 6am) 4 days off.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintenance Assistant required to work for a Facilities Management company to cover planned and preventative maintenance on a Health care site in Manchester. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.
This role will be working on a shift pattern which will vary from 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, 6am-2pm. (2 days off in a row regularly).
The Maintenance Assistant will be a member of a multi- disciplined/skilled team comprising of 8 skilled craftsmen and 4 assistants, working a 24 hour rotating shift pattern.
- Daily responsibilities will include:
- Basic maintenance repairs
- Assisting skilled tradesmen
- Flushing taps
- Checking temperatures
- Undertake general labouring duties as directed by the supervisor
- Minor plastering works
- General maintenance duties around the site
Requirements for the role
