Salary: £28,000 (£36,000 - £40,000 OTE including shift allowance)
Shifts: Mornings, Afternoons, Nights/Continentals Days & Nights
Maintenance Engineer
Our client is a market leading company in the FMCG market. Recently they have made over £50 Million pounds of investment in their new site adding state of the art automated machinery. Due to there ambitious expansion, they are looking for a number of skilled engineers to join the maintenance department with the opportunity to have further training and development.
Maintenance Engineer - The Role:
- Will be responsible for the up keeping of plant machinery
- 70% of the work will be mechanical
- Will be working on conveyors, robots, packaging machines, fillers, labelers, blow moulding machine.
- Working with a team of engineers
- Carrying out both mechanical and electrical faultfinding
Maintenance Engineer - The Candidate
- Experience working in a manufacturing production environment
- Some form of formal engineering qualification
- Mechanically can work with but not limited to motors, gears, bearings, chains, sprockets, pneumatics, rollers
- Electrically can work with but not limited to sensors, relays, contactors, safety switches, isolators.
- Basic PLC knowledge i/os
