Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mechanical, electrical, air, and water systems to legal and safety standards

  • Respond to maintenance requests and report faults via Helpdesk

  • Ensure safe use of tools and materials in line with regulations

  • Perform multi-skilled tasks including general handyman work when required

  • Keep accurate records using digital systems

  • Work independently and make decisions on system shutdowns when necessary

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ in mechanical/electrical services

  • Electrical qualification

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and safety legislation

  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Willingness to work shifts and support out-of-hours rotas
