Our client is looking to recruit x2 maintenance engineers to their new team.
The company is an emerging plastic manufacturer, who uses recycled materials to produce plastic resins. The company owns one of only a few plastic re-processing facilities in the UK.
They are looking to recruit experienced maintenance engineers with experience in re-processing industries so they are therefore familiar with the operation and maintenance of the following recycling and re-processing plant equipment.
* Heavy-Duty Machinery
* Conveyor belts
* Shredders
* Dryers
* Granulators
* Squeezers
* Extruders
* Water Pumps
* Water Treatment Systems
Maintenance Engineer - Main roles and responsibilities:
* To make sure the plastic washing and extrusion facility run smoothly 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
* Conduct PPM and attend breakdowns and carry out repairs
* Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement plans
* Make records of maintenance issues and repairs for management analysis.
You will possess relevant experience as a maintenance engineer, be mechanically biased, ideally combined with relevant technical/engineering qualifications and or apprenticeship and training. Candidates with the above experience, qualification and some relevant electrical skills/certs are encouraged to apply.
