Our client is looking to recruit 2 Maintenance Technicians to their expanding team. One Technician will have a mechanical bias and the other an electrical bias.
Maintenance Technician Main Roles & Responsibilities.
*Complete workload set out by the Engineering Manager in a safe and prompt manner. Ensure that any objectives and legal requirements are met prior to carrying out any works. All work are to be carried out whilst wearing the correct personal protective equipment, adhering to the Companies rules regarding safety.
*Attend breakdowns, carry out repairs and perform planned preventative maintenance on a range of systems including pumps, valves, motors and boilers.
*Fire Alarm testing & routine maintenance of emergency lighting and fire extinguishers also fall part of the engineering departments remit.
*Attend training and meetings at the request of management.
*Form part of an on call rota system
You will have previous experience in a maintenance role with a wide skill set.
Mechanically biased candidates
*Familiar and experienced in the repair and maintenance of:
*Pumps
*Motors
*Boilers
*Able to Weld
Electrically Biased candidates
*Familiar and experienced in the repair and maintenance of:
*Pumps
*Motors
*Boilers
*Control Panels
*Electrical Power Circuits
Candidates must have a Full UK Driving Licence in order to be able to drive company vehicles and attend other company sites on occasion.
