Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, you'll be working within the Finance team, being responsible for the P&L governance and reporting of the RCE frameworks; circa £70m per annum
Your day to day will include:
- Understanding the contract/workstream Elf, the traded position and risks and opportunities and be able to articulate these to the FBP. Challenge operational and commercial leads on financial performance. Produce a realistic and robust quarterly forecast and be able to bridge and explain movements year on year and vs prior forecast.
- Liaise with the commercial team to provide a robust 13 week framework cash flow forecast to the FBP, at critical points be able to influence receipts and payments to maximise the cash balance.
- Full ownership of the Project Bank account, working with the commercial team to create a STCF to be included as non-treasury cash, calculating transfers to Kier.
- Day to day support to the business, ensuring all costs incurred for other Kier business areas are captured accurately and recharged in a timely manner. Working closely with the procurement lead to ensure the supply chain is well managed and understanding business issues and highlighting where they may be the early warnings of deviation to Forecast.
- Full month end reporting responsibility, creating monthly MI/P&L summaries, uploading CVRs where necessary. Reconciliation of ledgers, attendance at WD3 and WD5 reviews, highlighting significant deviation at the earliest opportunity and providing variance analysis and commentary to the FBP. Balance Sheet reconciliations of owned codes
