Location: Salford, Manchester or site based at Fleetwood - remote working available
Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available around month end commitments, just let us know.
Salary: £35k - £42k FTE
Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, you'll liaise with the contract senior leadership team and produce management reports and reconciliations. A key member of the wider finance team responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
Your day to day will include:
- preparation of management accounts through to trial balance for the contract(s)
- preparation of monthly profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow for the contract(s)
- variance analysis of contract results for the project leadership team
- managing cash recovery from the client through monthly applications / third party invoicing, as well as any debt management when required.
- preparation of cost reconciliations - people, plant, systems
- maintenance of accounting system via journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
This role of Management Accountant is great for you if are a:
- qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or working towards chartership
- proven ability of strong management accounting skills.
- hold a full UK driving licence
