Salary: £60,000-£70,000 (Dependant on experience)
Location: South Bucks

A highly successful German company specialising in material handling, chemical dousing and conveyor systems within the Chemical, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry have a new exciting position for a UK managing director.

As a Managing Director you will be:

  • The Managing Director will be responsible for running a small but highly profitable UK team, providing technical support for staff and clients
  • The Managing Director will need to come from a mechanical engineering background and have extensive knowledge in the material handling sector / industry.
  • The Managing Director will be responsible for marketing and business development
  • The Managing Director will be responsible for management of day-to-day activities, including staff management and interaction with professionals from other firms and clients
  • The Managing Director will be required to assist with client accounts and payments on behalf of the company
  • The Managing Director will be required to be innovative, have leadership skills and excellent analytical skills
  • The Managing Director will have the option of flexibility/hybrid remote working for a few days a week when trained
  • The Managing Director will benefit from a package of up to £70k basic (dependent on experience), executive company car and attractive annual bonus

As a Managing Director you must:

  • Managing Director will have Excellent Technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or Material Handling/Coveying systems
  • Managing Director will have at least 3+ years in a senior level of management
  • Candidate preferbly will be coming from a applications engineer/mechanical engineering role and does not need to have past experience as a MD.
  • Managing Director will be within a commutable distance of South bucks
  • Managing Director will be required to fly to Germany twice a year to meet with the other directors

Managing Director will be paid up to £60,000-£70,000 (Dependant on experience) + Holiday + Car + Bonus
