Our client is looking to recruit a Managing Director / CEO to their growing multi million pound waste processing and waste to energy plant.
An experienced Managing Director / CEO is required with a proven track record in the waste processing and/or waste to energy industry. Reporting to Chairperson and multi-billion pound funder stakeholder you will have full P&L, operational, commercial and strategic responsibility for this growing business.
To be considered for this Managing Director position you must have or be:
Director level experience from within the waste processing or waste to energy industry.
Commercially aware and financially astute, having previously held responsibility for P&L, cashflow management, budgets and forecasts
Competent in public and private competitive tendering and bid management.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and Environmental Agency standards & policies
Excellent HR and people management skills, a proven leader who can manage change and deliver organisational growth
A solid understanding of modern manufacturing and problem-solving techniques
Creating a culture of continuous improvement and leading the development of processes.
Sound technical appreciation of waste industry plant, equipment and processes.
Forge and maintain excellent working relationships with EA and other government agencies, DNO's and major power providers.
Lead major infrastructure investment projects
Candidates with the above attributes and experience that also possess relevent technical qualifications and/or MBA or ACCA acceditations are encouraged to apply.
