Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

Location: Leeds or Sheffield office based with home working

Business Area: Kier Utilities - Northumbrian Water

Contract: Permanent- Full Time

We are now recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Utilities team to support and lead the newly awarded Northumbrian Water Capital frameworks, to maintain high levels of professional commercial support for the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure commercially we are delivering to forecast, liaising with the project teams, ensuring cash flow is maximised and timey evaluation of final accounts
  • Manage and develop a commercial team across the frameworks.
  • Improve cost efficiency and create an environment of out-performance
What do we need from you?

To be successful, you will hold the relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying and have demonstrable experience of managing the commercial function, with NEC contract knowledge. It would also be advantageous to be RICS or CICES qualified.
