Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Full time, permanent
Responsibilities
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be supporting the highly successful commercial team, regularly providing reports to the Commercial Manager and the wider business unit.
Your day to day will include:
· Taking responsibility for managing all commercial items regarding the MEP Services across multiple Custodial Sites delivering to high standards across reporting, risk management, opportunity management, future forecasting, and team management.
· Ensuring commercial items are managed and driven throughout projects by the whole MEP Team. This will be carried out through preconstruction, construction, and post construction phases of projects.
· Ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met
Who are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:
· Ability to maintain relationships with clients, customers and suppliers
· Ability to lead a team with organisational skills and capable to develop team members.
· Experienced in delivering projects of MEP value 20 million plus as well as managing multiple projects across Preconstruction and Construction phases.
· Demonstrated experience in management and control of multiple Sub-contractor controlling performance, safety, quality, productivity and programme
· High level of competence in digital construction methods and tools
