Experienced Manual Machinist required to join an established team for an engineering specialist, based in Nottinghamshire.
The Nottinghamshire client want to fulfill the Manual Machinist role, on a permanent basis. The Manual Machinist must have a minimum of 5 years experience, and must be ok travelling to the site.
Candidates must have experience of, and be confident in using various tools, such as: grinders, lathes, drilling machines etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Manual Machinist duties will include, but wont be limited to the following:
- Set up and operate machines
- Produce precision tools and equipment from various materials
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools accordingly
Skills required
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
- Engineering background
- Manual accuracy and dexterity
- Knowledge of various materials and their properties
- Problem solving
- Time Management
Shift times
7:30-15:30pm Monday to Thursday
7:30-14:30pm Friday
Payrate
£12.95 - £15.15 per hour depending on experience
