The Role - Manufacturing Engineer
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will produce precision machined components by production engineering, programming, setting up and operating CNC Machines, ensuring that all quality and safety standards are adhered to, through the accurate keeping of records and process paperwork.

Main Responsibilities
Creating CNC programs for mills and lathes both at machine and using CAM software
Manufacture of jigs and fixtures
Generating machining plans for new components
Inspecting your own and other people's parts to engineering drawings
Providing technical leadership to the machining department
The Right Person
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following attributes and skills
The ability program, set and operate CNC Milling machines (Siemens & Fanuc)
Experience of machining to precision tolerances and finishes
Good inspection skills
Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
Above all you must be a damn good machinist
