We seek a Manufacturing / Production Manager for a manufacturer whose bespoke construction products is in high demand from a variety of customer groups including Private, Housing and the Public Sector. Their commitment to quality and innovative solutions has given them a position of market leader, and they strive consistently to deliver an excellent product and service. Their people are given every opportunity to develop with a combination of training and development with a supportive management team. The company is part of a larger Group with locations within the UK.
Your role as Manufacturing / Production Manager will be a key part within the manufacturing operation and you will have the brief of taking a day-to-day hands on approach in delivering bespoke manufactured solutions which range from £thousands to £millions and for a variety of customers. This is all using some of the latest technology within its specialist industry.
We would like to hear from you if you are:
Experienced Production / Manufacturing Manager within a manufacturing / production environment or somoone looking to step up to a Managers position
Proven supervisor / manager of people
Familiar with quality management systems and some aspects of lean manufacturing
Able to demonstrate your strong knowledge of, and commitment to, health, safety and environmental practices
Experienced in production & resource planning, maximising productivity
Knowledgeable in the use of ERP system and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel would be of particular interest)
