We are currently working with a successful architectural practice that is seeking a proactive Marketing and Bid Coordinator to join its office in Oxford.

Our client was founded in the 1940's and has grown to over 250 people across 11 UK offices. In this time, they have established themselves as an industry leader in planning advice, heritage consultancy, building surveying, conservation, and contemporary architecture.

Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.

Due increase in business demands in the region they now are seeking a Marking and Bid Coordinator to join the team based in Oxford.


Role & Responsibilities

-Working on the Production of bid, PQQ, tender and other documents utilising strong art working and typesetting skills with Adobe Creative Suite.
-Creating design layouts for bids and tenders, collating relevant images and graphics for submissions.
-Maintaining the internal database with details of bids and additional information
-Updating library of standard PQQ information, staff CVs, project case studies and photographs, filed in accordance with practice standards.
-Liaising with the wider bid team on all aspects of bid submissions, tenders and other marketing materials (this may include travel to other offices).
-Coordinating project photography with the technical staff.
-Managing intranet content for the region, including regular news stories.
-Maintaining and updating the regional content on the practice asset management system.
-Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to produce proposals and presentation materials.
-Coordination and execution of external events, including but not limited to national conferences, local networking events and our own lecture series
-Coordination with central marketing team on the production of content for the website and social media
-Regularly monitoring the regional portals and prepare and contribute to the marketing and business development activity reports when necessary.
-The role would also require occasional days working from its Bristol office.


Required Skills & Experience

-Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and desktop publishing
-Strong time management and organisational skills
-Proven experience in Microsoft Office programmes
-Experience of putting together tender submissions and pre-qualification questionnaires
-Very high standards of accuracy and excellent copywriting, proofreading, and attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
-Experience in marketing responsibilities, including events and business development.
