Test Certification Clerk
Full time, permanent position
Tachart have an excellent opportunity for a Test Certification Clerk to join our management team based at our site in Swinton, South Yorkshire.
Tachart Ltd t/a Bolt & Nut manufacturing is a successful, dynamic, fast paced precision engineering company, established in 1974 and currently expanding its operations in Swinton, Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The company's main activity is the manufacturing of Special Fasteners and Machined components for critical applications which involves the routine machining of exotic alloys such as Duplex stainless steels, Inconel, Hastelloy and other high performance metal alloys.
This is a key appointment, and you will be expected to work closely with other Managers within the company to ensure we meet or exceed our business / customer's needs.
Typically, you will:
- Prepare & verify EN10204 3.1 & EN10204 3.2 Material Certification for the company's products, checking analysis, mechanicals and Non-Destructive Testing to the relevant standards.
- Dealing with outside inspectors when required, Lloyds Register, DNV, TUV etc.
- Be an active member of a dynamic team and lend a hand to some day-to-day operational tasks.
What we are looking for:
- Experience / understanding Metallurgical analysis and mechanicals.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced user of Microsoft office software word, excel and databases.
- A basic understanding of engineering materials & heat treatment is essential.
- Previous experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- A second European language would be beneficial useful but not necessary for the role.
Salary : £25K plus depending on experience & bonus scheme.
