Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire (Flexible/Agile Working Option is available with this position)
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £30k depending on experience plus benefits
Responsibilities
This role will be based in Gloucester with regular travel between depots. Basic duties are stores and materials planning across the 5 cities, ordering material in line with the build programme, centralised stock management, and maintaining accurate stock records on the Kier system.
Your day to day will include:
- Collate monthly forecasts of material requirements across all cities; ensure ordering of material is in line with each forecast
- Process material requisitions and liaise with Purchasing Team for the delivery of orders to site
- Ensure all material transactions are input onto the stock management (Causeway) system
- Coordinate stock take programme and investigate all gains and losses, support Depot, Plant and Stores Manager in implementing remedial action in each depot as needed
- Become the subject matter expert for stock management on the Cityfibre contract
