Protocol are currently recruiting for a Maths Lecturer in the Colchester are on a Full Time permanent basis. The teacher will be expected to conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual learners, courses and the curriculum, keeping attendance records, managing assessments and maintaining student discipline. You will provide accurate and timely assessment and feedback to learners, and maintain assessment records, in line with College policy You will hold a Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant subject area.
Role responsibilities
Delivering Maths at Level 2 and Level 3
Working closely with Learners, students and other Staff members
To conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual learners, courses and the curriculum, keeping attendance records, managing assessments and maintaining student discipline
The person & qualifications
Must have experience of teaching mathematics at least to level 2.
Must have an understanding of the educational issues relating to the development of mathematics.
Must have an understanding of CPD issues relating to the development of mathematics skills in line with the national agenda
Must have an awareness of the importance of Equality and Diversity.
