We're looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Manager to join our Kier Places Housing Maintenance Team based in Hertfordshire. Within this role, you can enjoy a Company car or Car Allowance, Pension contribution up to 7.5%, Kier Rewards and even more.



Location: Hertfordshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office and sites required

Contract: Permanent Full time - 40 hours - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know



Responsibilities

As a Mechanical and Electrical Manager, you'll be working within the Housing Maintenance Team, supporting them in the smooth running of the Housing Maintenance contracts.

Your day to day will include:

· Receive and develop the tender risk assessment and ensure that risks are addressed adequately throughout the contract stage

· Monitor and update targets for the client / project in terms of profitability, turnover, quality, health, safety, environment and customer satisfaction

· Ensure appropriate controls are established on all contracts to guarantee the achievement of target levels of profitability, time, quality, health, safety, environment and customer satisfaction

· Carry out an effective handover to site team upon award of contract

· Ensure a contract review is carried out in accordance with procedures



What are we looking for?

This role of Mechanical and Electrical Manager is great for you if:

  • Hold a full UK Drivers Licence
  • CSCS Card
  • Minimum of HNC/HND in a building services engineering and / or
  • Membership of a relevant body (CIBSE, IET, CIOB)
  • Previous M&E management experience on projects up to £5m
  • Commercial and contractual understanding in relation to M&E matters
  • Computer literate on Microsoft applications and other collaborative software
