Site Manager (Electrical)

Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Site Manager with an electrical background to oversee M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) installations on our project located in Wembley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple project teams and electrical projects simultaneously to ensure that specifications, quality, and budget targets are met.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the health and safety manager to provide all safety needs for the project.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality processes, including on-site inspections, handovers with clients and engineers, and off-site tracking and forecasting.
  • Electrical Expertise: Utilise high-level knowledge of electrical regulations and troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
  • Team Building: Build and lead a strong team, supporting continuous improvement in project execution.

Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (minimum SSSTS, ideally SMSTS).
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience as an electrician.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation

  • Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
