This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Quantity Surveyor with strong Mechanical & Process skill set to get some key exposure to major projects and Blue-Chip clients in a thriving company.

Roles and Requirements
- Assist in the Bid Evaluation process including analysing data and identifying areas requiring additional investigation / clarification
- Partner on the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
- Assist in negotiating unit rates
- Assist in creating cost analysis feedback and lessons learned to the client for future works
- Expertly negotiate with contractors to agree materials quantities based upon detailed designs
- Prepare budget cost estimates in partnership with senior quantity surveyors
- Actively partner with clients, responding to their requests accurately and on time
- Be part of a larger team of quantity surveyors delivering a robust cost management service to the client
Personal Requirements
- 3-5 years Mechanical and/or Process Engineering experience
- Excellent client facing skills
- Qualification in surveying, engineering or trade experience in mechanical field
- Have an understanding of M&P Systems and demonstrated ability to read services drawings and schematics.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to optimise projects costs, implement value engineering, and ensure value for money whilst still achieving and delivering the highest standards and quality.
