Construction Managers from an Mechanical background and experience in the delivery of large-scale M&E projects will enjoy working for a General Contractor in the delivery of a brand new Data Centre development in Sweden! Manage day to day mechanical Installation activities on site, keep an up to date schedule of works, manage a team of supervisors in the delivery of this highly technical facility. Requirements

  • Weekly Meeting with appointed sub-contractor.
  • Overseeing the logistical requirements for the project.
  • Overseeing/organizing all testing that will take place.
  • Proficient in the use of Compass/ACC or other software's used.
  • Completing W1/W2 & IVC walks.
  • Managing supervisors and delegating work appropriately.
  • Dealing with any issues with sub-contractors on site.
  • Any orders that are needed, feeding this back to the mechanical engineer to complete MRF.
  • Site walks to ensure installation is being completed to the approved drawings.
  • Completing W1/W2/IVC/W3 walks.
  • Completing redline drawings.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Relevant Mechanical Qualification essential eg. BEng Degree, City & Guilds Certificate, HNC/BTEC or NVQ
  • 10 years' previous experience in projects related to data centre, oil & gas or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
