We are now recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Utilities team in Twickenham to manage activities that are part of the production services and provide the trust and collaborative approach we excel in at kier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, engineering, calculations, specifications
  • Assist with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams
  • Supervise plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
  • Generate and supervise preparation of data sheets, piping and equipment specifications, technical appraisals and selection.
  • Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
What do we need from you?

  • Experience of mechanical design engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
  • Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
  • Experience within the contracting industries and/or a process plant operator would be beneficial
