Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services - £30-45k DOE + Car/Allowance, 23 Days Holiday, Pension, Life Assurance + help working toward a Professional Membership

A Global Independent Construction Consultancy, working closely with building owners and developers, from concept stage through to project completion, helping them achieve a healthy return on investment.
Job Role
You will be working with a diverse range of clients such as retail, education, commercial, leisure and health, you will have the opportunity to assist the Chartered Building Surveyors on a number of exciting projects for both HVAC and M&E building services.
You will be responsible for:
- Design services for projects up to £1m in value
- Preparation of performance specifications and drawings
- Evaluation of contractors design proposals
- Quality monitoring / site installation inspections
- Condition Surveys and strategic life cycle appraisals.
Person
You will be HNC/ HND or degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering or Building Services discipline.
You will have a broad knowledge of building services, experience of both M & E services will have an advantage, but proven experience of Mechanical Building Services (HVAC) is essential.
Ideally you will have experience working in a similar surveying / design consultancy practice and be familiar with CAD.
Proven technical experience and skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus enthusiasm and ambition.
Knowledge of current Building Regulations, Standards and relevant Building Bulletins is required
