We're looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical bias to join our team working with the Plymouth NHS PFI contract. Within this role, you can enjoy family friendly policies, access to both Cycle to Work and Green Car schemes and even more.



Location: Mobile - Plymouth

Contract: Permanent, full time - 40 hours per week



Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in the completion of PPM's, repairs and minor electrical works across the Plymouth NHS PFI contract.

Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across four sites on the PFI contract - this includes general building maintenance, minor electrical maintenance and being first point responder for any works, which will also include Working at Heights
  • Mechanical and general maintenance including - plumbing, joinery and ad hoc maintenance as required
  • Ensure all M&E plant equipment data is kept up to date
  • Assist with the statutory compliance of the estate
  • You will be the low Voltage Authorised person for the contract, training will be provided for this responsibility
  • Ensure positive working relationships across our clients, customers and office staff


What are we looking for?

This role of Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias is great for you if:

  • You have a Mechanical background - including; Joinery, Plumbing, reactive maintenance
  • You have experience in the completion of planned maintenance and first line response of all M&E equipment including AHUs, air conditioning, generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting, basic joinery and plumbing works (installations, repairs and maintenance)
  • This is a Multi Skilled role so ideally you will need experience in mechanical, electrical and general maintenance - PPM's and reactive maintenance.
  • As the role is mobile covering multiple local sites, a clean driving license is required
