We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer who is keen on learning and progressing within the power generation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, analysing and testing designs for generators, motors and other power equipment that will be supplied to a wide range of industries including Oil and Gas, renewables, marine and grid power.
This company are a global leading OEM with over a century of trading experience withing the power generation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, analysing and reviewing technical drawings and components of industrial electric generators and motors.
Overseeing and supervising FAT tests on large electric power generation machinery.
Ensuring that all designs and products comply with safety standards and environmental requirements.
Troubleshooting of issues with machinery in operation in the factory or clients' sites.
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge/Experience with FEA software and Rotor dynamic calculations.
Keen on focussing and progressing within the Power generation industry.
