Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid - 3 days WFH)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex building services projects, with a strong focus on data centres and heavy industrial facilities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and delivering mechanical engineering design solutions across multiple project stages - from concept design to commissioning. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities for a Mechanical Engineers:

  • Deliver and review high-quality mechanical design packages ensuring compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Oversee mechanical aspects of procurement and installation design, including preparation of technical specifications and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet cost, programme, and performance targets across all phases of project delivery.
  • Provide on-site support and problem-solving expertise while ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For Mechanical Engineers:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience through an apprenticeship route)
  • Experience in mechanical building services design, ideally within data centres or critical infrastructure projects
  • Full UK driving licence
