Protocol are working with a leading FE College situated in Kent. The college is at the heart of the education sector in South East England, and a College which Ofsted recognised as Good for overall effectiveness, in a November 2018 inspection.

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a permanent basis as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice Trainer.

Role responsibilities

The apprentice trainer will be teaching, assessing & mentoring apprentices to complete Level 2 & Level 3 Engineering courses.
Teaching 37 hours per week.
Motivating students to excel in their subject area.
The person & qualifications

A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering such as; Hydraulic & Pneumatic, Mechanical Maintenance & Systems, Materials & quality controls, Mechanical Machining techniques including Turning, Milling & CNC.
TAQA, a D32/D33 or A1 Assessor Awards with TAQA Update, a D34 or V1 Verifiers Award.
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
