The Protocol Team are working with a leading college based in South East Kent on this new exciting vacancy. Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer who can deliver Mechanical Engineering courses at levels 1 - 3. Salary on offer is from £27,337 up to £31,335 depending on experience and qualifications. The college is looking to interview immediately as this role is for a September start.



Role responsibilities
Teaching on a Mechanical Engineering programme including levels 1 - 3.
To provide support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential
Undertake the role of Personal Tutor/Course Tutor for students, ensuring the adequate provision of support, and implementation of the College's Value Added Schemes
To ensure that all students receive an up-to-date programme of study at the beginning of each course to facilitate student understanding of the objectives of the learning programme.
To plan the curriculum to meet the needs of the student and the examining/validating body in liaison with the Head of Department.


The person & qualifications
Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering from levels 1 -3.
Hold a relevant teaching qualification
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject area
Have proven industry experience
A DBS Certificate that is on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
