Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a college based in South Yorkshire who are on the lookout for a mechanical engineering lecturer to join their engineering department.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate and knowledgeable about mechanical and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background within engineering, experience of training and assessing, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.

This role would be working 37.5 hours per week on a temporary contract.

Role responsibilities
*Delivering to apprentices within the workshop
*To delivering the following units:
AUEC2-001 - Complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements (M)
AUEC2-002 - Working Efficiently and Effectively in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (M)
AUEC2-003 - Using and communicating Technical Information (M)
AUEC2-004 - Conducting Business Improvement Activities
AUEC2-005 - Producing Components using Hand Fitting Techniques
AUEC2-006 - Maintaining Mechanical Devices and Equipment

The person & qualifications
*Level 3 in mechanical engineering
*Hold a teaching qualification
*Have experience delivering up to level 3 learners
