MECHANICAL FITTER
VEHICLE FITTING / ASSEMBLER / ASSEMBLY
ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH - LE65
IMMEDIATE START
DAY SHIFT 08:00 AM - 16:30 PM PAYING UP TO £11.91 PER HOUR
EXCELLENT OVERTIME RATES AFTER 37 HOURS

POTENTIAL FOR A PERMANENT CONTRACT
Mechanical Fitters with mechanical assembly fitting or shopfitting experience required for an initial ongoing contract in the West Leicester area. Excellent chance of earning a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Commutable from Coalville, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.
Duties vary but include the below:
- Working on vehicle conversions
- Mechanical assembly and fitting
- Working from work process documents
- Using various types of hand-tools to produce the required units
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Day Shifts, 37 hours standard
- Initially an ongoing contract, with the chance to earn a direct permanent contract
- After 6 months you may be eligible for a quarterly bonus
- PAYE and Ltd/Umbrella rates available
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Mechanical Assembly, Fitting or Shopfitting experience essential
- Qualifications not essential
- Experience of working with metals
- Able to work from process documents
- Skilled in the use of hand and air tools
- Must be physically fit as the work will involve manual handling and standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to commute to LE65 area
The Package:
- A competitive hourly rate of up to £11.91 Ltd or Umbrella per hour for a standard day shift
- Excellent overtime rates after 37 hours
- Quarterly bonus (after qualifying period)
