Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Okehampton- Hatherleigh

Business Unit: Utilities

We are now recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Utilities team in Okehampton- Hatherleigh to be supporting the operational teams' installations and refurbishments in a wide range of plant from inlet screen to pumping station pipe work in a drinking water and sewage treatment scenario.

What you'll be doing:

• You will be performing and upgrading, fabrication of equipment and facilities, and other several related job duties.
• You will assemble structural components to create a finished system, using blueprints as a guide.
• run tests on structural systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction, devise a plan of action, and troubleshoot these malfunctions by replacing the necessary components.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Hold experience of Mechanical installations systems within the Water and Wastewater industry.
• Knowledge of maintenance and fault finding within a live water treatment facility
