Faslane

£26.00-£30 per hour + 38 hour week
Unlimited Overtime (Paid Time + Half)
Travel Allowance (£800 per month)
Minimum Term of 6 month contract
Contract to Permanent role available


Earn £45,000 - £60,000 PLUS within 6 months work!!


Are you a Qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience working in a Marine role? Your role as a Mechanical Fitter will enable you to gain more experience, Earn incredibly well while working on exciting commercial, marine projects. Step into a contract position for a minimum term of 6 months that will set you up with experience to work on world leading marine projects with industry leading companies on an industry leading salary.

Join a company as an Mechanical Fitter working at the forefront of the Onshore/Offshore marine sector working on Subsea equipment, Submarine maintenance, Nuclear defence projects for the Ministry of Defence. Your role as a Mechanical Fitter is designed to reward hard work and give you industry valued experience to set you up for your career.
Your role as a Mechanical Fitter will include:
* Making adjustments as required
* Supporting all production departments on a daily basis
* Manufacture and repair of components, including use of machine tools and other workshop machinery
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have:
* Experience in Mechanical Engineering role
* Knowledge / Understanding of COSHH & safe systems of work
* Apprenticeship Qualification or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Full Right to work in the UK - No previous Criminal Convictions
* Valid Security Clearance (Either CTC, Full SC acceptable).
