MECHANICAL FITTER - AUTOMATION

£18 -20 per hour (umb/ ltd)

Overtime Rates at 1.5 and 2x hourly rate

Contract Basis - Ongoing

Monday - Friday - Days Role

Overtime available

Peterborough/ Stamford/ Uppingham/ Bourne

My client is a specialist engineering firm based in the Peterborough area, this multinational engineering company design, manufacture, and maintain special-purpose machinery. With automated lines and machinery being their specialism. The company has increased turnover dramatically in the last 2 years, and with an increased order book well into 2020 they need to increase headcount. If you have the right skills, please apply

THE ROLE OF MECHANICAL FITTER

    Use of hand tools Working with electrical fitters Creating Sub-Assemblies Working to technical drawing Fitting of various components Machining of parts is necessary


THE RIGHT MECHANICAL FITTER

    Experience of mechanical fitting Must have experience of special-purpose machinery build or automated machine Apprentice background would be ideal Can read technical drawings Has worked as part of an engineering team previously Can demonstrate engineering knowledge Happy to work Monday - Friday Can be flexible with overtime
